COMMON QUESTIONS

What do I wear?

It's usually best to wear breathable and fitted clothing. You may be in inverted or in other flexible positions that ones shirt or shorts can easily slide up or over if they aren't properly fitting. We suggest men wear some type of bike shorts or fitted longer underwear under regular shorts. Clothing often seen in yoga classes is perfect. We also suggest sticky socks. These are socks that have sticky padding on the bottom of them... If not, bare feet are fine (as long as feet are clean and healthy).

How big are your group classes?

We strongly believe in giving proper attention to you. Having said this, our group classes for Pilates are no bigger than 7 persons per class. Personal attention is a must in order to truly attain the correct knowledge for your body.

Yoga classes are no larger than 10 - 15 persons per class.

How long is a session

Sessions are 50 minutes long unless otherwise stated.

Is there a cancellation policy?

We realize things happen however we do have a 24 hour cancellation policy. Should you not show up or not cancel in time, you will have forfeited that session and will be charged a cancellation fee ( the price of your session ).

Can I do Pilates if I am pregnant?

Yes you can however, you must let your instructor know prior to your session so that we may properly assess your specific needs and goals. Certain women may only be allowed in private sessions due to your unique bodies and the main concern of safety for your baby and yourself.

How long are my group or private sessions valid for?

Group classes and Private sessions are valid for three months from date of purchase.

Can I do Pilates if I am injured?

This really depends on the seriousness of the injury. Pilates is often used as rehab for many patients and we get many referrals from Physical Therapists for ongoing rehabilitation. Having said this, we would require you (and all customers) to fill out a health release form so that we may know the history and information of the injury and your body in general.

I don't see a class time that works for me / I have a few friends that all want to take a class but there's not a time listed that works for us... can I/we request a class time that would accommodate our schedule?

The answer to this is YES. You and the instructor can coordinate a day and time that works best for you. We can schedule a private for you or a duet for you and a friend. We can also schedule a trio for you and two of your friends. Just reach out and we can get everyone setup today.
