NOT ALL PILATES STUDIOS ARE THE SAME...
Here at ABILITY we pride ourselves on teaching the tried, true and authentic method of Pilates. With over 20 years of experience, our fully certified instructors separate themselves from the rest by offering a vast amount of knowledge for every body type.
I'm so happy to have found this studio. I've tried other studios that say they teach Pilates but it wasn't the real thing. Ability teaches the real deal and my body has changed for the better. I look leaner, longer and feel stronger every day. I would recommend this studio to anyone trying to get that beach body they want or their pre-baby body back.
I can't believe I thought mega-former studios taught Pilates. Since I've come here I've not only lost weight and leaned out, but learned so much about what real Pilates is. I absolutely love Jamie for being so thorough and patient with me. All the instructors have so much knowledge and it gives me a sense of pride to say I learn the real thing.
When a friend of mine told me to try Pilates to get stronger and more flexible, I laughed. I really didn't think men did this and come to find out a man invented Pilates ( Joseph Pilates ). Since I've been coming here I have no more back pain & my abs look like they did when I was 18. Thank you to all the instructors. My only regret is not trying Pilates much sooner.
It may look scary but make no mistake, this tower of power is a true gem for isolation and elongating. This integral apparatus will stretch your body in ways you never knew were possible.
The heart of most equipment classes. The reformer focuses on core strength and proper muscle engagement which improves athletic performance, back pain, injury recovery, weight loss, balance, bone density and posture to name a few.
Yes it's small but guess what... it's also the most challenging apparatus of all. The chair is greatly effective for building arm, core and leg strength and is often used to improve sports performance in football players, skiers and runners. The chair is also great for supporting sports that require upper body strength and mobility, such as tennis and golf.
